FT Spanish - Muscatine HS - beginning January 2017

25 Oct 2016 12:29 PM | Carrie Morris (Administrator)

Greetings!  My name is Jared Smith and I am the principal at Muscatine High School.  We are excited to announce that we have a Spanish teaching position open for second semester (just after January 1st, 2017).

We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and passionate individual to fill this spot on our staff.  Muscatine High School is home to 1,400 students and is known for highly rigorous courses as well as well as top-performing athletics and activities.  Just recently, Muscatine High School was identified as a Top-25 high school in the state of Iowa as awarded by the Iowa AP Index.

Situated on the Mississippi River, Muscatine is located just 30 miles from both Iowa City and the Quad Cities.  Most of our teachers live in Muscatine, but a number of them do make the commute from either Iowa City or the Quad Cities.  There are truly many options for our employees in terms of places to live and things to do!

The Muscatine Community School District offers highly competitive salary and benefits.  The full salary schedule can be found here.

If you are interested in applying, I encourage you to apply online.  If you have any questions about the position or about the high school, I encourage you to call my cell phone at 319-464-1329.  I look forward to chatting with you about the great opportunities we have here at Muscatine High School!
